Dr. Anjali Soni

Dr. Anjali Soni

Dr. Anjali Soni grew up in Bucks County, PA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a business minor from Villanova University. She then completed her dental training at VCU School of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Soni moved to Philadelphia, PA to pursue a 2-year postdoctoral residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. During residency, she received extensive training in treating medically complex patients, children and adolescents with special health care needs, and sedation and hospital dentistry.


Dr. Soni is dedicated to providing compassionate dental care for children in a safe and fun environment!

She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Richmond Association of Women Dentists. During her time in dental school, she was involved in a mission trip to Honduras where she served and cared for children in rural communities and practiced her Spanish-speaking skills!


Outside of dentistry, Dr. Soni enjoys spending time with her husband Suraj, a Richmond, VA native currently training as a cardiologist. They enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with family and friends!


Dr. Kelsey Scott

Dr. Kelsey Scott, an Oklahoma native, received her bachelor’s degree in business and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma. While in dental school, she served on the American Student Dental Association board as historian. She found her passion for serving the community through volunteering at Mission of Mercy, Good Shepherd Ministry, and Kids Day.


After dental school, Dr. Scott started her 2-year post-doctoral pediatric dental residency in Richmond, VA at St. Mary’s Hospital. Dr. Scott is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Virginia Dental Association. 

In her free time, Dr. Scott and her husband Brett spend time hiking around Virginia, biking the capital trail, and traveling. Dr. Scott is also an avid runner and has completed many half marathons. Attempting new recipes in the kitchen and exploring new restaurants are also passions of Dr. Scott. 


Dr. Vidisha Patel

Dr. Vidisha Patel is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She recently moved to the Richmond, VA area with her family. She is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park, and University of Maryland Dental School, where she was awarded the Dean’s Award for Community Service.


She completed her pediatric dentistry training at Temple University Hospital – Episcopal Division. Her love for dentistry and working with children started when she began volunteering at her dentist’s office in high school. She truly believes that each child should have a positive and nurturing experience in the dental setting and hopes to help her patients overcome their dental anxiety by creating a friendly and fun environment.

Dr. Patel is a Diplomate – American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She's also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Gorgas Odontological Honors Society, and Gamma Phi Delta Honor Society.


Dr. Patel is married and is a mom to a baby boy. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and staying active. She and her husband Ketan love exploring new cities and cultures and trying new foods!


Dr. Swara Fadnis

Dr. Swara Fadnis

Dr. Fadnis was born and raised in India, where she went to dental school prior to moving to the United States in 2013. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry. She went on to pursue her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) at Boston University, graduating top 20 in her class. She then did a 2-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). Dr. Fadnis is trained in providing comprehensive care for children of all ages including those with special healthcare needs. She is also trained to perform oral sedation, in-office general anesthesia, as well as hospital dentistry.

Dr. Fadnis is a Board-Eligible pediatric dentist and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (VAPD), and the Southern Society of Pediatric Dentistry (SSPD).


Dr. Fadnis and her husband live in Mechanicsville with their baby boy and their cat. In her free time, Dr. Fadnis likes to go on hikes and play music with her family (she plays keyboards in a band!).
