Infant Dental Care
At Sparkle Pediatric Dentistry, we recommend that your baby has her first dental checkup as soon as the first tooth erupts, which can be as early as 4 months, or up to 12 months of age. At the first checkup, we will show your child around our office to introduce him or her to our dental team. As your child gets used to the new surroundings, we can perform a quick exam with your child resting on your lap.
Pediatric Dental Care
Visits are recommended twice a year, or every six months, as an opportunity to provide a thorough cleaning and an examination of your child’s teach and oral health. At each visit, we will focus on keeping primary and permanent teeth healthy and teaching children and parents ways to avoid decay and other dental diseases. Good brushing and flossing habits at home, in addition to regular dental visits twice a year, can reduce and even eliminate the need for more invasive treatments such as fillings. At Sparkle Pediatric Dentistry of Henrico, VA, we will team with you and your child to proactively prevent decay.
Teen Dental Care
